2012. The third chapter of the bond between the city and Picturin begins in Parco Dora.
The façades involved in the project rise in number and color branches out from downtown to the suburbs, as Torino slowly turns into a big outdoor museum.
Picturin – Torino Mural Art Festival is once more confirmed to be one of the main European street art and graffiti events, mixing big names from the international scene with well known and emerging local artists.
In a perfectly Glocal mindset, a strong bond is kept with the city’s urban structure. The opening event is thus planned to take place in the brand new Parco Dora, contributing to the renewal of the Spina3 zone.
Backed up by the experience brought by its previous two editions, Picturin is prepared to face this new adventure with the future in mind and the aim to transform the event in one of the top events in street art calendars.

Picturin – organized by the associations for urban creativity (ACU) which work on this territory (“Il Cerchio E Le Gocce”, “Monkeys Evolution” and “Style Orange”), MurArte and by the Youth Policies Service and the Contemporary Arts Service of the City of Torino – is financed by the Department of Youth via the Local Plan for Metropolitan City Youth and is featured in Torino Young’s event calendar, the program for summer activities dedicated to young creativity.

2012. Parte da Parco Dora il terzo capitolo del legame tra la città e Picturin.
Aumentano progressivamente le facciate coinvolte, il colore si spande tra centro e periferia, lentamente Torino assume le sembianze di un grande museo a cielo aperto.
Picturin – Torino Mural Art Festival si consolida come uno dei principali eventi europei di street art e graffiti-writing, mescolando grandi nomi della scena internazionale e artisti noti e emergenti della scena cittadina.
In perfetta ottica Glocal mantiene uno stretto legame col tessuto urbano della città. Non a caso l’evento inaugurale si svolgerà nel nuovissimo Parco Dora, contribuendo all’intervento di rinnovamento della Spina3.
Forte dell’esperienza accumulata nelle due precedenti edizioni, Picturin si appresta ad affrontare questa nuova avventura con lo sguardo già rivolto al futuro, per trasformare l’evento in un appuntamento di punta dei calendari internazionali della street art.

Picturin – organizzato dalle associazioni per la creatività urbana (ACU) che operano sul territorio (“Il Cerchio E Le Gocce” “Monkeys Evolution” e “Style Orange”), MurArte e dal Servizio Politiche Giovanili e il Servizio Arti Contemporanee della Città di Torino – è finanziato dal Dipartimento della Gioventù attraverso il Piano Locale Giovani Città Metropolitane e rientra tra gli eventi torinesi inseriti nel calendario di City Young, il palinsesto delle attività estive legate alla creatività giovanile.
