2011 EDITION

2011 was a year of change and strengthening on local territory.
Picturin’s second edition – programmed by the Youth Policies Sector within the Local Provincial Youth Plan schedule – relied very much on an artistic and cultural contest for youths aged 18-35, whose prizes were 3 building façades for winning artists to paint their projects on.
Besides the contest, numerous side events were organized, once again bringing in international artists, from Serbia to France, all the way to Brazil. The organization and realization of these moments was up to “Il Cerchio e le Gocce”, “Monkeys Evolution” and “Style Orange” Associations, which have been active on the local scene for many years and are stable partners of the MurArte project.

The event was financed by the Province of Torino; the project was coordinated by: MurArte (a Youth Policies project) and the associations for urban creativity (ACU) which work on this territory (“Il Cerchio E Le Gocce”, “Monkeys Evolution” and “Style Orange”).

Il 2011 è stato un anno di transizione e di consolidamento sul territorio.
La seconda edizione di Picturin – programmata dal Settore Politiche Giovanili nell’ambito delle attività inserite nel Piano Locale Giovani Provinciale – ha puntato soprattutto sul bando di concorso artistico-culturale rivolto a giovani creativi tra i 18 e i 35 anni, che metteva in palio 3 facciate di edifici torinesi.
Oltre al concorso, sono stati realizzati numerosi eventi collaterali, che hanno nuovamente portato in città diversi artisti internazionali, dalla Serbia alla Francia, fino al Brasile. L’organizzazione e realizzazione di questi momenti è stata curata dalle Associazioni “Il Cerchio e le Gocce”, “Monkeys Evolution” e “Style Orange”, attive da anni sulla scena cittadina e partner stabili del progetto Murarte.

L’evento è stato finanziato dalla Provincia di Torino; progettato e coordinato da: Murarte (progetto del Settore Politiche Giovanili) e le associazioni per la creatività urbana (ACU) che operano sul territorio (“Il Cerchio E Le Gocce” “Monkeys Evolution” e “Style Orange”).
